Ms. Diliana Ilieva, Managing Partner, and Ms. Dilyana Kondeva, Senior Associate, negotiated and advised our client in the process of conclusion of a Framework Agreement as a first and fundamental step to the signing of a Share Purchase Agreement for the sale of a special purpose vehicle for the development of a renewable energy project. The total amount of the investment agreed under the Framework Agreement is EUR 17 million. The Framework Agreement sets out the milestone issues and clauses that are stipulated and developed in detail in the Share Purchase Agreement. During the process of negotiations we balanced the client interests and the transaction particularities with view to the inconsistent state policy regarding the renewable energy sector and ever changing energy legislation in Bulgaria.
