In October 2016 Ilieva, Voutcheva & Co. represented a client before the Supreme Court of Cassation in a legal dispute over a loan agreement signed in 2006 and the following substitution of the debtor by other company, with the consent of the creditor. The case included legal dispute over a validity of a debt substitution, challenge of representation power regarding execution of legal documents. It also tackled issues regarding the registration of deals in accountancy, corporate issues regarding approval of the loan agreement, etc. We won at the first and second instance in court. The Supreme Court of Cassation has decided not to allow cassation of the second instance court resolution. This case was a great success for both our client and our firm.
